To celebrate the final year of the highly successful fourth generation (C4) Corvette, GM came up with something very special... the limited production Grand Sport. These remarkable cars represented the finest technology to date and commemorated the fabulous factory Grand Sport racers of the early 60's. Only 1,000 were ever built and each was equipped with the powerful one-year-only LT4 engine and six speed manual transmission. Of these, only 190 Convertibles were produced and only 53 came equipped with the brilliant red/black interior option. GS #0178 that you see here also has the extremely rare Spare Tire Delete option (RPO Code N84) which makes it all the more desirable. Absolutely gorgeous in every respect, this is a rare opportunity to own one of the most collectible and sought after Corvettes ever produced. |
